South Korean based global K-Pop star, BIBI, has joined forces with multi-platinum singer/songwriter, Becky G, on the release of their new single and music video for “Amigos,” out now. The outcome is a captivating unification of BIBI and Becky G’s irresistible vocals, resulting in an alluring and playfully provocative anthem. Directed by duo Javier Castan and Eoghan O'Driscoll of Mutant (Zara Larson, David Guetta, Madison Beer), the tantalizing video finds BIBI and Becky G in pursuit of a secret rendezvous, taking audiences with them as they embark on their exciting endeavor. The adventurous and enthralling video shows us what BIBI and Becky G really mean when they say: “But if my boyfriend calls / We are friends, nothing more”.
On her collaboration with Becky G, BIBI said, “When I first heard Becky G’s voice in ‘Amigos,’ I fell in love because it was so perfect. I pondered countless times on how to make this song shine even more and chose a slightly more dark approach. I made many changes unlike my usual style. I tried to create a blend of low and refreshing tones. Although the lyrics may be somewhat suggestive and promiscuous, I am not that kind of person. As a hopeless romantic, I have a knack for falling head over heels for that one special person and my loyalty knows no bounds.”
Becky G continued, “Everyone knows how much I value collaboration and this song with BIBI presented a great opportunity for us to adapt our styles to work together. A blend of cultures, the track further proves music’s ability to transcend borders. I’m so excited for our fans to experience the crossroads of our creativity that creates an infectious beat that so many will enjoy.”

ADB, Gobi Sign Sustainability Linked Loan to Support Climate-Resilient Cashmere Value Chain in Mongolia
ULAANBAATAR, MONGOLIA (20 November 2023) — The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Gobi Joint Stock Company have signed a $30 million sustainability linked loan to support the cashmere value chain in Mongolia and provide stable incomes and employment to 1,200 herders and 1,300 industry employees. The loan will be used to procure raw cashmere from herders, as well as for cashmere processing activities.
In addition, a $1 million technical assistance grant will be provided to support scalable sustainable pasture and herd management, and to run workshops on climate-resilient practices for herder groups in the Khuvsgul and Bayankhongor provinces. Sustainability linked loans incentivize the achievement of sustainable performance goals in return for a variable or lower interest rate. This loan will target increased direct procurement from herders, emission reduction, and water conservation, as well as training herders in pasture management.
Mongolian herders are severely affected by climate change, which is causing or contributing to increased heatwaves, droughts, dzuds (severe winter conditions), and desertification. Careful management of pasture and ecology is essential to mitigate the effects of overgrazing and improve climate resilience. The reliable income and technical support provided by Gobi is critical to supporting herders in these endeavors.
“Mongolia contributes nearly half of the global raw cashmere supply, but most of it is exported and only a fraction is processed into final products inside the country. Fostering a sustainable cashmere production industry will help diversify this important industry and boost its contribution to the broader economy,” said ADB Director General for Private Sector Operations Suzanne Gaboury. “While women are heavily engaged in Mongolia's livestock sector, they lack income-generating jobs and training. Gobi and ADB share a commitment to make sure that women receive a fair share of financial rewards for their hard work, and are able to play a greater role in the industry’s development.”
The grant will support capacity-building activities on sustainable pasture management, basic pasture ecology, financial literacy, and budget management for at least 200 nomadic herders, of which at least 80 will be women. It will also fund support for the improvement of pasture ecology and management and seek solutions to help herders reduce herd sizes while maintaining or increasing income.
ADB will help Gobi to advance gender equity and women’s empowerment in its operations. Key milestones include ensuring that at least half of new operations staff are women; providing training opportunities to female staff; dedicating nearly half of Gobi’s training outreach to women herders; encouraging female herders to join herder groups promoting scalable pasture and herd management; and developing awareness materials on gender-based violence.
“With our partnership with ADB, Gobi JSC will produce more finished goods with value-add, which will increase foreign currency revenue inflow into the country’s economy, as well as create more jobs,” said Gobi JSC Chief Executive Officer Baatarsaikhan Tsagaach.
Gobi is the largest cashmere manufacturer in Mongolia. As a member of the Sustainable Fiber Alliance, Gobi focuses on sustainable value chain practices including sustainable animal husbandry and community management, and procures raw cashmere from Mongolian herders. Gobi is part of Tavan Bogd Group, one of the largest conglomerates in Mongolia, and an existing ADB client.
ADB is committed to achieving a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific, while sustaining its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty. Established in 1966, it is owned by 68 members—49 from the region.

TATE MCRAE RELEASES NEW SONG AND VIDEO FOR “exes”
WATCH HERE
SNL DEBUT PERFORMANCE TOMORROW NIGHT
HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SOPHOMORE ALBUM
THINK LATER OUT DECEMBER 8TH
(Download Album Artwork & Press Photo HERE)
(Los Angeles, CA – November 17th, 2023) – Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Tate McRae releases her new song “exes” alongside the official music video via RCA Records. Written and produced with hitmakers Ryan Tedder (Taylor Swift, Beyoncé) and Tyler Spry (OneRepublic, Anitta), “exes” is propelled by Tate’s vibrant vocal style laced effortlessly with bursts of synths throughout.
Directed by Aerin Moreno (Dove Cameron, Madison Beer) and choreographed by Sean Bankhead (Cardi B, Lil Nas X), the steamy music video follows Tate and her dancers taking over a rundown rodeo for the night. Through intoxicating visuals and high energy choreo, you won’t be able to look away from the immensely talented Tate as she catapults into pop stardom.
Tate adds, “We wrote “exes” on the last day of the album making process. It was kind of like the last hurrah that Ryan Tedder and I wrote in legitimately 30 minutes. It talks about my flaws in a relationship, and some of my self-deprecating and self-sabotaging tendencies. The music video was so insane to film — getting to dance that much with such incredible girls was a dream.”
Showing no signs of slowing down, the star is making her musical guest debut on Saturday Night Live tomorrow night with host Jason Momoa. Featured on the cover of Billboard’s November Music Awards Issue, Tate will be performing at the show this Sunday where she’s also nominated for her collaboration with Tiësto on “10:35” in Top Dance/Electronic Song.
Releasing December 8th, Tate’s highly anticipated sophomore album, THINK LATER, is executive produced by Ryan Tedder. Pre-order HERE. THINK LATER and its songs are steeped in pop appeal and infectious toplines. Showcasing Tate’s boundless vocal talent and evolution as a songwriter, this new body of work explores the all-too-relatable feelings of falling in love and embracing the raw emotions that you experience as a result of leading with your intuition and heart.
The first taste of music from the forthcoming album, “greedy”, earned the star her first #1 on the Spotify Global chart and top 10 on the Billboard Global 200 chart hitting #3. The self-assured hypnotic offering has garnered over 394 million streams to date and hit #11 on Hot 100 along with #1 most added at Top 40 and Hot AC radio upon release. Making it her biggest debut to date, “greedy” has been called “an artistic turning point… a propulsive self-empowerment anthem built around a firecracker of a pop hook that finds McRae dipping in and out of a falsetto while exuding unshakeable confidence” by Billboard. Watch her perform the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Next year, she’ll embark on her first global outing with the ‘THINK LATER TOUR” spanning 53-dates throughout Europe, UK, North America, Australia, and New Zealand. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on Wednesday, April 17 in Dublin, Ireland at 3Olympia Theatre, with shows in London, Amsterdam, Prague, Paris, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, Sydney, Melbourne, and many more before wrapping up in Wellington, New Zealand at TSB Arena on Thursday, November 21. charlieonnafriday will be joining as support on all dates across Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Presley Regier will join Tate across all North America dates.
The ‘THINK LATER TOUR’ will see Tate playing the biggest and most iconic venues of her career thus far, including her first headline show at Madison Square Garden. For more info and to purchase tickets visit HERE.

LINYING PREMIERES VIBRANT NEW SINGLE/VIDEO “HAPPINESS” VIA NYLON Q&A
NEW EP HOUSE MOUSE OUT NOW
(NETTWERK)
Hometown Release Show at LA’s Resident on December 3rd
Credit: Michelle Mei
LA-via-Singapore artist Linying shares her effervescent new single “Happiness,” the final preview of her new EP House Mouse, out now via Nettwerk; listen to House Mouse HERE. The track arrives with a Michelle Mei-directed video filmed with a spirit of playful spontaneity on an island in the Philippines, which premiered earlier at NYLON alongside a Q&A. “Happiness” is a sonic burst of pure euphoria, rushing forward on pulse-quickening rhythms as Linying channels the thrill of post-breakup freedom. "I used to feel all endings with one-dimensional grief, but this one had complexity—there was pain and liberation but also fear; there was the thrill of new desire, so messy and lighthearted at the same time. And then there was the peace of knowing it was all going to be okay,” she explains. “It was blissful and instinctive, and the song kind of wrote itself.”
Of the video, she says to NYLON: “We traveled through Siargao over 10 days with Michelle’s expensive camera and my toy camcorder, filming whatever we wanted, and only when we felt like it. We surfed, we shared meals with new friends, we bathed in rock pools and painted our faces with clay pebbles and devoured coconut after coconut (in all imaginable forms). I’d scramble into an outfit and full makeup once we saw that the light was good, and we’d shoot without a plan, looping the song over and over but never getting sick of it. I also think we gave a pair of fruit sellers on the street what was possibly their highest grossing day on record…My biceps were sore the next day from lugging bags and bags of watermelon and papaya. It was wonderful. I couldn’t forget it even if I tried, but I’m so glad we have this to remember it by.”
“Happiness” Video Still
“Happiness” follows the EP’s previous singles “Porcupine” and “Take Me to Your House,” which earned support from Brooklyn Vegan, Under the Radar, Ones to Watch (playlist), Northern Transmissions, Best Song Ever Podcast, and more. Linying's debut album There Could Be Wreckage Here—a 2022 release made with musicians like former Death Cab for Cutie guitarist Chris Walla—earned fantastic press from NPR Music, NME, Bitch Media, and others.
On House Mouse, Linying follows her intuition toward a kaleidoscopic form of dream-pop that's bursting with radiant imagination and heavenly melodies. It's proof of the wild magic that comes from letting go and leaning into your most unfettered impulses. Mainly co-produced with Jon Graber, the EP was recorded at a Los Angeles studio that Linying describes as “a haunted mansion full of every instrument you could ever imagine.” As they experimented with unusual instruments like the EBow and erhu and tack piano, the duo also worked with musicians like Jordan Blackmon (former live guitarist for Toro y Moi) and constructed an elaborate sonic world around Linying's up-close examination of her inner life and all its complexity.
Linying will perform next at LA’s Resident on December 3rd. Tickets are available HERE.
Bio, hi-res press photos and EP cover art are available HERE.

November 17, 2023 – 2x-GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer Steve Aoki shares his 8th studio album ‘HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix’ with collaborations from Paris Hilton, Akon, Ángela Aguilar, Danna Paola, Greeicy, Galantis, JJ Lin, Hayley Kiyoko, Galantis, Timmy Trumpet, and John Martin. Released today alongside the new LP, his new single “Us” featuring country music singer ERNEST is accompanied by a music video from filmmaker and photographer Val Vega. The track spans multiple genres, bridging country with Aoki’s EDM sensibilities to create a new and exciting musical fusion.
Aoki on the collaboration: “I've been a huge fan of ERNEST's songwriting for a while so when I first heard him singing on the demo of this song, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to work together. Regardless of the music genre, his lyrics and vocal delivery work perfectly. Together we were able to create a song that feels authentically dance while maintaining his country roots.”
“I’m stoked to have this song coming out,” shares ERNEST. “We wrote it a couple years ago in the middle of Covid, and when we wrote it I knew that I wanted it to live in some capacity. I’m such a fan of Steve’s music, so when he reached out about putting it out together, I was ecstatic! The song brings together country and dance in a fun and playful way.”
‘HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix’ takes inspiration from both nostalgia and the dynamic sounds of contemporary dance, Latin music and more. It seamlessly integrates these elements with the diverse cultural influences Aoki has encountered during his extensive global touring, performing over 200 shows a year worldwide. The first 'HiROQUEST' drew from Aoki's alternative music and punk band roots. With 'Double Helix,' the story advances, expanding both the sonic palette and the narrative of Hiro.
Aoki on the album: “HiROQUEST is an IP I’ve created to tell these unique stories. On my new album, I’ve been inspired by the past and the present, with Latin and dance collaborations at the core. These sounds are staples in my sets around the world and they allow me to connect with audiences on a truly global level.”
‘HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix’ builds off of the rich storytelling Aoki established on ‘HiROQUEST: Genesis,’ Aoki’s expansive world-building album. The epic sequel unfurls the thrilling tale of Hiro's relentless pursuit and confrontation with his sinister arch-nemesis, Hyro. Hiro continues to embark on a daring odyssey, driven by the pursuit of more legendary Pullet Rings, while facing off against the formidable Hyro and armies hailing from five uncharted mythological realms, each ruled by a unique and powerful faction: the enigmatic Amphibians of PROTEA, the enchanting Fairies of BLOODLINS, the colossal Giants of GRAVITONS, the mischievous Goblins of GREMBOLDS, and the mystic Witches & Wizards of SHAMASAYA.
Building upon Steve's deep passion for card collecting, this exciting venture goes beyond the music itself. Fans can take the next step in their HiROQUEST journey with the pre-order of the HiROQUEST Collectors Edition, officially live on November 21st, 2023. This Collectors Edition includes an exclusive HiROQUEST CD, the official HiROQUEST GRAPHIC NOVEL, and four ultra-rare Kolex trading cards from an exclusive 12-card set. Each Collectors Edition will also contain 4 cards, including numbered chase cards for those lucky enough to find them. The novel was written by Aoki, alongside former Creative Director for Marvel Comics, New York Times Bestseller, and Eisner Award recipient for Best Graphic Novel, Jim Kreuger.
Los Angeles fans will be able to experience the world of ‘HiROQUEST’ this November 19th, at the HiROQUESTGenesis Pop-Up Event in Los Angeles. Rico Blanco continues winning streak with the release of his new single “Sayong sayo (Papel, Gunting, Bato)”
The prolific hitmaker solidifies his place as one of the country’s greats with another pop-rock gem
After receiving the prestigious Dangal Ng MusikangPilipino at the 36th Awit Awards for his enormous contribution to the Philippine music scene and re-releasing “You’ll Be Safe Here” on streaming platforms for the very first time, Filipino alternative rock icon Rico Blanco continues to make headlines with the release of his new single, “Sayong sayo (Papel, Gunting, Bato),” via Sony Music Entertainment.
On “Sayong sayo (Papel, Gunting, Bato),” the prolific songsmith displays a mastery of the ‘love song’ genre with simplicity and finesse, evoking the feeling of winning the lottery after several tries in life and love.
“The chorus hook came to me first, and I immediately felt it would be a really fun song to play live or at a party,” Rico Blanco shares. “I kept imagining everyone dancing and singing along. A fun party song.”
Recorded at the Balcony Studio with the legendary AngeeRozul, the upbeat pop-rock ditty shows a sonic maverick still in his prime, tapping into new ideas with a sophisticated sheen. The track also marks the first time that the OPM veteran jammed and recorded a track face-to-face with fellow musicians since the pandemic, which includes accomplished and critically acclaimed producers/singer-songwriters Zild Benitez on bass and Tim Marquez on drums.
“Ang saya at sobrang bilis lang parang naglalaro lang kaming apat sa studio (it felt like we’re just playing around and having fun in the studio),” the multi-awarded artistexplains.
“Iba pa rin talaga mag-record ng magkakasama sa isangkwarto (There’s nothing like recording together in a room).
“Sayong sayo (Papel, Gunting, Bato)” serves as the follow-up single to last year’s “Palibot-libot,” an introspective synth-pop tune that reflects on the uncertainty of one-sided love. It will be part of a new album to be released sometime in 2024.

Denise Julia releases debut album, Sweet Nothings (Chapter 1)
The R&B newcomer celebrates love “in all its beautiful complexities”
Multi-talented recording star Denise Julia continues to shape the trajectory of Filipino R&B with her debut mini-album, Sweet Nothings (Chapter 1), out this Friday, November 17, 2023, via Sony Music Entertainment.
Nestled between effortless cool and feminine grace, the hitmaker’s 7-track record essays the highs and lows of romantic commitment in the era of perpetual screentime and brief attention spans.
With a sweet voice that flutters gently above sonic flourishes, Denise Julia speaks her mind with wisdom beyond her years, delivering the material as if it were part of her own joy, pain, and experience.
“This album isn't just a bunch of songs; it's like a journey through all the different parts of love—from the exciting beginnings to the tough endings, and finally, to those sweet, lingering moments,” the NVMD artist reveals in a statement. "Sweet Nothings is like looking back at my own experiences and the stories from others that touched me. It's like a musical trip exploring the different sides of love.”
Combining R&B sensibilities with a modern touch of jazzy soundscapes, hip-hop beats, and suave instrumentation, Denise Julia takes reign of her narrative as she deals with different facets of love: the rough parts, the reassuringly sweet edges, and the meaty center, all of which make the experience worth rummaging for. As the young music icon explains it, “Each song talks about a different part of this feeling we all know.”
Denise Julia’s new album features production from her constant and trusted collaborators, including Joel Tracks, a prolific producer based in Nigeria; J.Greg and Duaneinsane, who played pivotal roles in bringing her vision to life; and Neo Cruz, who is responsible for making “Butterflies” a sultry number with signature smooth melodies.
Norwegian-Filipina artist and multi-instrumentalist HILLARI and acclaimed alt-R&B experimentalist Jason Dhakal also join Denise Julia on “Roster” and “Bum 2 Me,” respectively, adding an interesting dimension to the album’s delicately sparse but genuinely sophisticated sound.
There’s also the inescapable crossover hit “B.A.D.,” featuring acclaimed rapper P-Lo, whose style and flow complement Julia’s incredible vocal chops. To date, the catchy R&B jam has racked up more than 2 million streams on Spotify since its release, peaking at No. 66 and still going strong.
“Working alongside these musical geniuses was a transformative experience, offering me invaluable insights and learnings,” the R&B sensation shares. ‘Their expertise and creativity elevated the project to new heights, and I am truly grateful for the collaborative synergy that shaped the outcome.”
The album’s focus track, “Lackin’,” serves as another highlight: an airy lullaby that was inspired by one of her dreams. Denise Julia told her producers about how the dream felt like a “ghost in her mind” and that she had to immediately write the track over that ringing, familiar melody.
She adds, “I remember the pressure and excitement during the studio session, especially in the intro. This track stands out as one of my best-written pieces, capturing the raw emotion of a relationship where one person was lacking, yet I expressed the belief that the tables would turn and they'd crave my presence in return.”

SOS comes to terms with love and losson the emotional anthem “Please Lang”
The new track serves as the third offering from their upcoming EP, ‘It Was A Moment,’ due early next year
Manila, Philippines — Filipino indie rock quintet SOSdelves into the impact of lost connections and romantic fallouts on “Please Lang,” their new single under Careless Music.
An emotional anthem that reflects on the weight of unresolved fights and the silent, often unacknowledged trauma it inflicts, “Please Lang” serves as the third offeringoff their upcoming five-track EP, It Was A Moment—to be released sometime in early 2024.
According to vocalist Roberto Seña, the guitar-driven song delivers confessional songwriting that is evident in most of their music.
“It’s a sad song that focuses on what happened rather than what could have been. It’s also just good fun, really—being able to laugh or have a sense of humor while experiencing inevitable heartbreak. Eventually, the song takes a darker turn as the song settles; things come to an end, and we just have to accept it.”
Over the course of two days, Seña wrote most of the lyrics during one of their jam sessions at Bavarian Records Studio in La Union, while guitarist Andrew Panopio helped with the second half of the song. The song was produced and arranged by the members of the band, resulting in a punchy but subdued release with ‘80s pop and ’90s alt rock influences worn proudly on its sleeves.
Drummer King Puentespina shares, “I think we were slated to finish arranging another song that day, and during our lunch break, I opened a new project file wanting to jam something out. I remember laying in the chords, progression, and drums and it started morphing. I asked Andrew to go for the groove; Ram was on the keys, and everyone in the room could feel it. It just slowly brought itself together. Seña and Anjo came into the studio after one of their lunch breaks or meetings or something, and they all got excited. I remember stepping out for a meeting and dinner. I came back, and they had all the words down. It was insanely fun.”
“Please Lang” is the second single that features new member Ram Alonzo performing keyboard duties while also being prominently involved in the studio, aiding in the mixing and mastering of the material. He recalls being swept away by the fragility of the track, and how its tale of love and loss deeply resonated with him on a personal level.
“Working on this song felt particularly personal for me,” Ram admits. “While we were writing it, I was going through a similar experience to what the song is all about, which made listening to it kind of difficult. Masakit siya (It’s painful).”

About SOS
SOS (pronounced like “sauce”) is an alternative band from Manila, Philippines. Formerly known as She’s Only Sixteen, members Roberto Seña (vocals, guitar, synths), Andrew Panopio (guitar), Anjo Silvoza (bass), Ram Alonzo (keys, synths), and King Puentespina (drums, synths) derive their influences from genre- and era-spanning styles: juxtaposing occasionally anthemic, often inescapable rhythms with lyrical themes that explore realist jadedness in almost real-time weariness, as well as human complexities with lush, buoyant production styles. This irony is at the core of the band’s galvanizing live performances, where they project human fallibility—strikingly— with both tenderness and animosity. SOS has performed extensively in their home country of the Philippines and across Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan. Their latest track, “Roses,” and their upcoming new double EP are their first release under Careless Music.

Clara Benin finds home in people with the holiday-themed track “can’t wait to see you on christmas day”
The multi-awarded Filipino singer-songwriter celebrates the Christmas season with the release of a blissful tune
Clara Benin warms up the holiday season with the release of her new single, “can’t wait to see you on christmas day.”
The sweet little tune expresses the joy of returning to someone on Christmas and finding home, not necessarily in a place or entity, but in the company of people that matter.
“I wrote it thinking of my family and the heart-warming feeling of our Christmas reunions, where all our worries melt away, replaced by thankfulness and joy,” the Filipino singer-songwriter explains.
Written and produced in the comfort of her own home, Clara Benin wanted a song that evokes the endearing warmth of the holidays, where spending one’s precious time with folks she considers family makes living truly worthwhile and memorable.
Despite the logistical challenges that she encountered during the recording of the song in early October, the prolific folk-pop artist pulled through the odds with a compelling track whose sense of comfort radiates in every note and chord.
“It took me multiple attempts to get the right take because my home studio isn't soundproof, and the rain could be heard in the background during the recording,” Clara reveals. “I managed to record the song one early morning and finished at around 4 a.m.”
According to Clara, the song holds a special place in her heart as it started out as a collaborative effort with her fans in her Patreon community. She even solicited their help for words and phrases that bring to mind the essence of Christmas and somehow used it as part of her writing exercise.
“Shoutout to my Patreon member Stephen Duma, whose line 'all the longing finds hope in the faces we call home' deeply resonated with me, and I knew it had to be a part of the song,” Clara shares in a statement.
