Healing and Hugs

Yesterday, I went to the St. Camillus Provincialate to attend their monthly healing mass. It was my first time to experience mass there, and my helper Racquel joined me to pray for my dad. 

The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick followed shortly after the mass. I prayed for my dad and my best friend Luti. 

We had breakfast at Kopi Roti, where I got to introduce Racquel to a Singaporean brekkie of soft boiled eggs, kaya toast, and kopi. 

We also had dirty ice cream for dessert.  

I spent time with my dad in the hospital, then I proceeded to Barkin’ Blends to cuddle with the dogs there, like my favorite dog Ella. 

Church, dogs, and food keep me going. Here’s to better days ahead! 

Journey to Faith

Yesterday, I rode a couple of trains to... 

...St. Clare Monastery! I gave thanks and prayed for my personal intentions.  

I had a hearty and healthful lunch. The Wild Wild West salad from Go! Salads was so delicious. The ranch dressing definitely brought a unique punch to my midday.  

I continued to do some work on my phone while cuddling with the dogs of Barkin’ Blends Dog Cafe. I was welcomed by my favorite dog, Ella the chiweenie. 

Stark the pomsky was camera-shy. 

I also bonded with Ella’s son Chocnut and Happy the pug.  

It was hard to say goodbye even if I’m a frequent guest at the cafe.  

Before going to bed, I transferred these two scents into travel perfume bottles from Beabi. I was proud of myself for finding a way to transfer the DKNY perfume to the smaller bottle as it was difficult to open. Thank God for online forums, and I was able to research how to open the bottle.  

Both scents were Christmas gifts to me.  

I restore my faith by continuously praying, communing with nature (in the form of furry dogs), and surprising myself with a new skill (even if it’s as simple as transferring perfume). Life is a journey, but it can be easier with some faith and belief in oneself. 

Four Pawsome Years

Yesteday was the fourth year anniversary celebration of my favorite dog cafe, Barkin Blends. I attended their pirate-themed party and hugged the family- including the cafe’s human owners, who have become my friends through the years! Congrats Barkin Blends! I hope to witness more anniversaries with your cuddly dogs!

Faith and Furbabies

Yesterday, I decided to eat at Breakfast Bin again. I had my usual toasted naked longganisa with brown talangka rice. 

For dessert, I had scoops of rural chocolate and purple love (ube!) from Papa Diddi’s. 

I offered eggs and had some religious articles blessed at St. Clare Monastery. 

Then, it was playtime with the furbabies at Barkin Blends Dog Cafe! Ella, my favorite, was busy with other customers, so I spent time with their doggos.

Puppies, Coffee, and Cinnamon

I had a latte with my favorite dog Ella yesterday as Barkin Blends Dog Cafe. You can expect to see me here on Sundays as it has already become my default happy place. 

It was time for Ella’s nap so I let her snooze on my lap. 

Of course, the cafe also has other dogs! I couldn’t resist having pics taken with the whole gang again. 

After my fluffy adventure, I returned to Lil’ Orbits Mini-Donuts to have their cinnamon dozen. 

It was heavenly! 

If you want to be happy, spend time with dogs and have some mini-donuts! That formula has never failed me.

Another Barkin’ Sunday

I visited Barkin’ Blends Dog Cafe last Sunday to get some good vibes from my favorite furry friends. I visit the cafe whenever I need a few hugs, licks, and cuddles. 

I am never disappointed because the cafe has plenty of dogs to have coffee with. All dogs are clean, soft, and fluffy! 

I was able to spend some time with lots of dogs! 

My favorite dog is this chiweenie named Ella, who has been giving me some TLC for the past three years. I know I’m not supposed to have a favorite, but I do. She is the sweetest.
